Hi friends!
Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of Spring? πΌπ·
Winter always seems to go by so slowly. But now that I look back, it feels like it flew by! π
First of all, I have some exciting news! My new baby sister was born a week ago on March 12 at 1:25 AM! And I got to be there to see it and was up basically all night. π
Second, I have more exciting news! π You can find a hint in the title of this post! π€
I'm really excited about this, but before I jump ahead, I want to make sure you're on board. Please read the section below and then fill out this form if this idea sounds like something you would want to do!

Recently, I've been thinking about rereading some classic booksβmostly for fun, but also because I feel like thereβs a lot I can learn from them and be positively influenced by their characters.
While pondering this genius idea, I thought it would be fun to do this with my friends! My blog followers came to mind immediately. And what better way to do this than to make it a challenge for you all!
So here's what I'm thinking: In the newsletter that I send on April 1, I'll reveal the classic book that you'll read that month. If you read the entire book during April, you'll get an honorable mention in my next email!
Then, also in that next newsletter (for May), there will be a quiz with questions about the book. If you get a certain percentage or higher on that quiz (percentage yet to be determined) you'll win a tiny prize with a theme of that book! β¨
The bonus is that even if you don't finish the whole book, you can still take the quiz and have a chance at getting the prize! The catch is that it won't be as fresh in your memory, and it might be hard to dig through the book to find the answers.
We'll call this the CRC! π€©

I think one reason why so many people love spring is that it reminds us of our rebirths as Christians.
We were once dead and covered in sin, but Jesus is bringing us to life! He is like warmth, melting the evil and making everything alive, fresh, and beautiful again! π
I hope this brings you a little encouragement and brightens your day. π
Have fun tomorrow celebrating the first day of spring! ππ©·

Ahhhh, a baby sister! My baby brother was born a few months ago, and I was there for his birth as well! I was too young to care when my two sisters were born- there is a large age gap between my brother and the rest of us. How many siblings do you have? Is having a bay in the house {when you are older} new for you or not?
ReplyDeleteYes!! Oh wow, congratulations! π₯° And that's so fun how you got to be there! What did you think of it? π€ Awh, yes, that makes sense. I have two brothers and now a sister. π And yes, it is new; one of my brothers is older than me and the other was born when I was four! π But I'm definitely loving it so far!! π
DeleteThat is so encouraging! π₯° Iβm going to remember our spiritual rebirth as I appreciate the sun and the new things growing this spring!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is, thank you! π₯° Me too! Thank you for reading. (:
